Somatic yoga uses the concept of pandiculation rather than static stretching to re-set muscle length for better function and improved posture. Often times due to illness, trauma, habits, aging and stress, our muscles can forget how to relax or engage to support us.
Somatic yoga helps to retrain the brain and nervous system to safely release old patterns and hidden tension through small and gentle movements.
This class is accessible for everyone.
