Are you feeling stress from worrying about past or potential future events? Do you sometimes feel as though you are living on autopilot? Are you experiencing difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, or do you wake up feeling fatigued? Do your thought patterns lean towards anxiety or sometimes send you into a downward spiral? Mindfulness and meditation is not emptying the mind, rather it’s channeling the mind to establish new neutral pathways that are more positive, compassionate, productive and non-judgmental. Mindfulness allows us to more deeply tune in to the world around us, enhancing our sensations and slowing down so we can savor the journey. Each week, content of the classes will be to identify habits that work against us, and learn tools such as short meditations and breathing techniques, to implement mindfulness into your daily life. Class will begin with some gentle movement to help prepare your body to sit comfortably.
